Gigawave MotorSport’s Aston Martin DBR9 has undergone Rig Testing, a key element in the car’s pre-season preparation. The stringent tests are designed to evaluate the combination between the dampers and the springs of the car to ensure it is operating to full potential.
Team Manager Steve Hagger was pleased with the results, “It was a good day spent at Multimatic using their 4 post rig tester. We are now ready to get the car out on the track and test all our hard work over the close season.”

Gigawave MotorSport has decided to take more time to race-prepare its new Aston Martin Vantage GT2. As a result, the car will debut after the opening round of the 2008 FIA GT Championship, which takes place at Silverstone in April.
Its GT1 programme will also benefit from the decision, by allowing it to focus on making the best start possible for a serious title challenge in the FIA GT Championship.
